Evelyn Eller
a native New Yorker, is known best for her books — one-of-a-kind handmade collage objects.
During her artistic career, which began in the late 1940s under the tutelage of Morris Kantor, Will Barnett and others, Ellen has explored oil painting, acrylic and print making but her current focus is collage.
Ms. Eller won a Fulbright Fellowship to study at the Academio Di Bella Arti in Rome (1954–55) and later held a residency at Yaddo in Saratoga Springs.
Eller has exhibited extensively througout the world and is the recipient of numerous awards. Her work can be found in many public and corporate collections.
